About the CEPA Program
This innovative educational program was specifically designed for business advisors who work closely with owners of privately held companies. Using an executive MBA-style format, the program is designed around a central case study and uses a combination of lectures, group discussions, case studies and individual exercises to introduce participants to concepts and to reinforce skills.
Certification Criteria and Process
Certified Exit Planning Advisors complete a challenging 4-day program that involves approximately 150 hours of pre-course study, 34 hours of classroom instruction, and successful completion of a 3.5 hour proctored examination.
The next CEPA course and examination will be offered at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Management on May 3 - 7, 2010. The application deadline for this program is April 15, 2010.
